On Feb. 17, Toby Veal was named SIAC Newcomer of the Week for week fourteen of the season.
 
The Savannah, Ga., native has earned this honor following two wins last week for Paine. Veal averaged 11 points, 9.5 rebounds, three blocks and one steal following wins over Albany State and Morehouse. The senior is now averaging 10.3 points per game and seven rebounds per game. He is shooting 55 percent from the field.
