COLUMBIA, S.C. – Paine College was well represented at the NCCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, which took place at Columbia International University this week.

I'yanna Brown posted a 12^th-place effort in the 100m prelims, narrowly missing out on the finals.

Brown missed out on making the finals by three-tenths of a second as the top eight qualify for the finals. She was just two-tenths of a second away from ninth place.

Brown also competed in the 200m, taking 19^th after crossing the line in 26.72. Elysia Terry garnered a top-25 effort after recording a time of 27.25. Her effort was good enough for 24^th place.
