Ricky Carvajal has been at the helm of the Paine College softball team since 2020.

Prior to his arrival at Paine College, Carvajal was the head baseball coach at Augusta Prep H.S. Carvajal also spent time as an assistant baseball coach at Fox Cree H.S. as well as being an assistant for the Lions. Carvajal was also the head coach for Complete Game 17-under team.

He was a two-time HBCU All-American. Carvajal picked up all-conference accolades twice.

Carvajal earned his degree in business administration with an emphasis in international business from Paine College.
