AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Paine College women's volleyball team avenged an early season lose by beating Savannah State on senior night 3-1 (25-16, 17-25, 25-20, 25-21) on Friday evening in the HEAL Complex.
The Lady Lions improved to (13-11, 8-7 SIAC) while the Lady Tigers fall to (8-13, 6-9 SIAC) on the season.
Paine took the first set as they breezed to a 25-16 victory. After SSU tied that match at 1-1, PC rallied to take the next to sets for the victory.
The Lady Lions were led by 
Jada Wilks (Tarpon Springs, FL) with 11 kills while 
Shavonne Boggs (Tampa, FL) had 9 kill and senior 
Kennedy Curtis (Douglasville, GA) finished with 8 kills and two blocks. Savannah State was led by Imani Williamson who finished the night with a game-high 13 kills.
PC returns to action tomorrow afternoon at 3 p.m. as they host Clark Atlanta University in the HEAL Complex.
