AUGUSTA, Ga. -  Keon Williams 16 points led the Paine College men's basketball team to a 66-61 victory over Morehouse College on Monday afternoon in the HEAL Complex.

PC improves to 2-13, 2-8 SIAC while MHC drops to 8-9, 5-5 SIAC on the year.

Sophomore forward Keon Willliams (Valdosta, GA) led the Lions with a team-high 16 points including 11 in the second half, while freshman Jamal Hinkle (Augusta, GA) had 11 points and nine rebounds in the win.

The Maroon Tigers Julian Alexander had a game-high 20 points in the loss.

Second Half

• PC outscored MHC in the second half 30-25
• PC had their largest lead at 5 with one second remaining in the game
• Paine held Lane scoreless for the final 2:28 after the game was tied at 61-61
• Williams scored 11 points in the half to lead the Lions

The Lions return to action on Monday, January 27th as they go on the road to take on Savannah State University in Savannah, Ga. Tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
