AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Paine College volleyball team lost a 3-0 match to Carolina University Friday afternoon in the region championship.
The Lady Lions conclude their season at 3-21.
Kennedy Williams led the way with eight kills.
Najla Betts and
Akirah McCrae had four kills apiece while
Daija Broadnax and
Soleil Johnson chipped in three and two, respectively.
Kelsey Williams dished out 18 assists and posted an ace in the contest.
Makayla Evans led the defense with 11 kills while
Jordan Fortson totaled 10 in the contest.
At the net, McCrae totaled four blocks, including two solo blocks. Betts added a pair of block assists.
