AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Paine College women's basketball team lost an 81-66 contest to visiting Clinton College Tuesday evening.
The Lady Lions are now 5-14 on the season while CC improves to 6-15.

Kisha Lucette's team was led by
Jada Brooks' team-best 19 points. She was one of four PC student-athletes in double figures.
Kyra McCrary garnered a double-double with 12 points and a game-high 14 rebounds.
Adewunmi Atiba and Deavin Pitt tallied 10 points apiece in the loss.
Daejah Houck accounted for nine points, seven rebounds and four assists. Brooks also snagged seven boards while Amaria Wright pulled down six rebounds.
For the game, Paine College hit 26-of-74 from the floor. The squad was solid at the line, hitting 12-of-15. The Lady Lions corralled 51 rebounds in the game and got 25 points off their bench. Lucette's team outscored the visitors during the final 10 minutes, 22-21.
The Lady Lions return to action Thursday when they play at Voorhees at 5:30 p.m.
