ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Paine College women's basketball team wrapped up its season at the NCCAA Southeast Regional Championship with an 87-52 loss to Clinton College.

Head coach Kisha Lucette's team concluded the season at 5-19.

Leia Brown led the Lady Lions with a 20-point, five-rebound effort. Kyra McCrary tallied 14 points and nine rebounds while Tamyria Countryman chipped in 10 points. Jayla Dendy had four points and seven rebounds while Amaria Wright and Zakarah Powell had two points each. Wright dished out five assists. Adia Dormu pulled down six boards.

Trailing 49-21 at the half, PC played virtually even in the third frame. Down 54-23, Brown buried a jumper. McCrary converted an old-fashioned three-point play to make it 54-28.
