Previous school: Shuford attended Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, N.C. where he played basketball.
High school: Shuford attended Hickory HS in Hickory, N.C....earned letters playing basketball...was chosen for All-Conference and All-District teams...averaged 11 points, 6 assists, 5Â rebounds, and 3 steals per game.
Personal: Shuford is the son of Reggie Shuford and Reese Niles...chose Paine because it offered him another opportunity to accomplish his goals.

What is the best advice you have received? Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.
What advice would you give to a young student-athlete? Grind hard at your craft but most importantly, stay eligible. Education is the key.
