Full Name: Denzel Salamo Dillingham
Date of Birth: December 19,1992
Birthplace: Hickory, N.C.
Career Goal: To be able to financially support my family.

Previous School: Dillingham attended Lenoir-Rhyne University in Hickory, N.C. While at Lenoir-Rhyne, Dillingham played basketball  and helped the team to a 18-9 record in his last season there. He was named to the 1st team All-Conference (2012-2013). He averaged 17.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game. Dillingham’s best game was against Brevard College in which he scored 34 points and had eight rebounds.

High School: Dillingham attended Hickory HS in Hickory, N.C. While at Hickory, he won four varsity letters as a basketball player. Dillingham help the team to a 78-9 record and was named to the 2nd team All-State. He averaged 16 points, nine rebounds, and three assists per game.

Personal: Dillingham is the son of Donald Dillingham.

Do you have any superstitions which affect your athletic performance? I have to knock on wood when I hear someone say anything about an injury.
What person has been the most inspirational to you and why? The person who has been most inspirational to me is my mother because of all the things she overcame in her life.
What person do you admire most and why? I admire Michael Jordan most because he has a vision, accomplished it, and took it even further.
What is best advice you have received? The best advice that I have received is that when you want success more that you want to breathe then you’ll truly know success.
What advice would you give to a young student-athlete? Some advice that I would give a young-student athlete is to find the reason you wake up and do what you do.
