Full Name: Jeremiah Alexander West
Date of Birth: January 8, 1996
Birthplace: Durham, N.C.
Career goal: To play professional basketball.
High School: West attended Legacy Charter in Greenville, S.C., North Florida Educational Institute in Jacksonville, Fla., and Brashier Middle College Charter HS. West earned four varsity letters as a basketball player. At Brasher Middle College Charter, West set the record for most points scored in a game with 38 and most in a season with 459. He was also named the 2AA District Player of the Year. West averaged 21.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.9 assists per game.
Personal: West is the son of Shannon West...chose Paine because I felt it would be a good home for me.

What person has been the most inspirational to you and why? The person who has been most inspirational to me is my grandfather because he was the first black Mayor pro tem in Concord, N.C.
What person do you admire most and why? I admire my mother most because of her strength and the love that she shows for my family.
What is best advice you have received? Keep your head down and complete the task.
What advice would you give to a young student-athlete? It`s a process. Keep doing the work and the results will come.
