Full name: Patrick Wayne Petty, Jr.
Date of Birth: June 6, 1994
Birthplace: Atlanta, Ga.
High School: Petty attended Jonesboro HS in Atlanta, Ga. While at Jonesboro, Petty played basketball and volleyball. He earned four varsity letter for each sport. He was a member of region championship and final four state playoff team as a sophomore. Petty helped lead team to region championships and final four again as a junior. He earned First Team All-Region and runner-up for Regional Player of the Year as a junior. Petty helped the team to state sweet 16 as a senior.
Personal: Petty is the son of Patrick Petty, Sr. & Stacey Simmons...chose Paine because it was a perfect fit to further his education...has a younger brother, Cam Sutton, who plays football at University of Tennessee...has a relative, Jason Dunn who played football for the Kansas City Chiefs for 10 years.

What person do you admire most and why? I admire my brother, Cam Sutton, most because he is humble and has an amazing work ethic. He is also a playmaker.
What is best advice you have received? The best advice that I have received was from my father who told me to listen to me now and believe me later.
What advice would you give to a young student-athlete? Advice that I would give to a young student-athlete is to have faith, work hard, stay humble and listen.
