High school: Connelly attended Hickory HS in Hickory, N.C....earned letters playing football and basketball...set school record for most 3 pointers in a quarter...selected to All-Conference team and chosen as the Most Valuable Player of the conference.
Personal: Connelly is the son of Shawn and Kenya Johnson...chose Paine because it was a new opportunity to further his education.
