Name: Kayla Rasha Lewis
Date of Birth: April 3, 1995
Birthplace: Birmingham, Ala.
Career Goal: To become a dermatologist.
High School: Lewis attended Shades Valley HS in Irondale, Ala. While at Shades Valley, Lewis played basketball, volleyball and was a member of the track & field team. Some of her honors include Best Defense, Best Offense, Honors Award for Scholar-Athlete.
Personal: Lewis is the daughter of Nadra Lewis...she has two relatives, Audie Key (basketball, volleyball, track & field-Alcorn State University) and Kimani Key (Basketball – University of Montevallo), who play sports....chose Paine because of the volleyball program.

What is best advice you have received? The best advice that I ever got was to be the best by doing my best in everything I do, to take pride in who I am and my faith will see me through.
What advice would you give to a young student-athlete? The best advice that I can give to a young student-athlete is to always give 100% in everything you do.
