AUGUSTA, Ga. (Football) – Loranzo Hammonds wins the first Southern Intercollegiate Athletics Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week for Paine College this season. Hammonds nabbed the award for his performance against Benedict College on  Nov. 8.

The junior quarterback from N. Augusta, S.C. ended the game 20 of 29 for 221 yards and three touchdowns in Paine's victory over Benedict. He was also the leading rushed for the Lions with 15 carries for 40 yards and one touchdown.
