AUGUSTA, Ga. - The Paine College men's basketball team fell to the Magicians of LeMoyne-Owen, 76-65 in the HEAL Complex on Thursday Evening.

Paine (1-10, 0-5 SIAC) battled LeMoyne-Owen (3-10, 2-1 SIAC) early in the second half to get within four points, but that's as close at PC would get as LOC eventually would open up a 14 point lead while coasting to the victory.

The Lions were led by Kaderious Compton who finished with a double-double performance after scoring 20 points and hauling down 10 rebounds. Yusef Riley chipped in with 12 points and seven rebounds while Jared Tatt and Jerodd Blount ended the evening with eight points a piece.

PC shot 35.6 (21-of-59) percent from the field while struggling from the three-point line shooting a disappointing 28.1 (9-of-32) percent, while forcing 16 Magician turnovers.

Justin Street led LeMoyne-Owen with 25 points and 10 rebounds on 9-of-16 shooting while Rashawn Brown added 18 points and 10 rebounds in the winning effort. Aquil Muhammed just missed a double-double after finishing with eight points and nine rebounds. LOC outrebounded Paine 51-to-34 on the boards.
