Lions Drop Road Contest
TIGERVILLE, S.C. – The Paine College men's basketball team lost an 85-79 game at North Greenville Thursday evening.
The Lions are now 5-10 on the season.
Quinnton Jackson led the way with 19 points, four steals and four assists.
Nate Adams,
Dejuan Lockett and
Jakobe Williams tallied 13 points apiece.
Williams distributed six assists while Lockett snagged six rebounds.
Elija Greer added 11 points while
Calvin Johnson snagged five boards.
For the game, the Lions made 29-of-70 from the floor, including nine-of-2 from distance. The team pulled down 31 rebounds and dished out 14 assists.
Paine netted 26 points in the paint and had 20 points on the break. The squad also converted NGU's turnovers into 22 points.
The Lions return to action Monday when they host Clinton at 4 p.m.
