AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Paine College baseball team recorded a pair of wins over visiting Florida Palms Sunday by scores of 5-3 and 5-4.

In game one, Dominique Page turned in a three-hit performance. Denny Daza, Juery Beato and Jhhoel Melone all had a hit apiece.

Beato went yard for his hit while Melone notched a double. Kris Williams picked up a sacrifice fly.

On the mound, Camillo Martinez went the distance and had 10 strikeouts in the victory.

In game two, the Lions used a two-run seventh inning for the come-from-behind victory.

Daza led the way with three hits while Alejandro Fernandez notched two hits and two RBI. Beato and Joshua Cruz each had one RBI apiece in the victory.

On the mound, Christian Tibabijo went the distance to get the win. He struck out four.
