DENMARK, S.C. – The Paine College women's basketball team knocked off Voorhees 63-47 Saturday evening.

The Lady Lions were led by Adewunmi Atiba's 15 points and five rebounds. Jada Brooks notched 14 points and four boards to go along with two steals.

Alexandria Caples hit for 13 points in the win.

The Lady Lions connected on 22-of-48 from the floor (45.8 percent), including four-of-10 from downtown (40.0 percent). The squad got to the line 20 times and hit 15 attempts (75 percent).
