ROCK HILL, S.C. – The Paine College volleyball team lost a 3-0 decision at Clinton College Monday evening.
Set scores were 25-22, 25-19, 25-21.
Head coach
Kisha Lucette's team was led by
Najla Betts' team-high eight kills.
Jamaya Allen accounted for seven kills while
Akirah McCrae notched five.
Kelsey Williams distributed 13 assists while
Chelsea Brooks contributed seven.
At the service line,
Kayla Montoya and
Makayla Evans had two aces apiece.
Defensively, Evans led the squad with eight digs.
The Lady Lions return to action Tuesday when they play at Benedict at 6 p.m.
