COLUMBIA, S.C. – The Paine College volleyball team lost a 3-0 decision at Benedict Tuesday evening.
The Lady Lions are now 8-10 on the season.
Najla Betts and
Akirah McCrae led the way with six kills apiece.
Kennedy Williams recorded five kills while
Jamaya Allen accounted for four.
Chelsea Brooks led the offense with nine assists while
Kelsey Williams added five.
At the service line,
Kayla Montoya had a pair of aces and
Kelsey Williams tallied one.
Defensively, McCrae registered a pair of solo blocks while Betts and
Jamia Seals had one solo block apiece.
Evans, Montoya and
Kelsey Williams shared team-high honors with seven digs apiece.
Demi Mckeever added six digs while Books accounted for five.
The Lady Lions return to action Thursday when they play at Wesleyan College at 6 p.m.
