The Lady Lions of Paine College delivered a thrilling 77–73 victory over Morris College on Senior Night, capping off an emotional evening with a statement win in front of their home crowd. Behind a dominant 28-point performance from Kyra McCrary, Paine battled through four intense quarters to secure the hard-fought victory. McCrary attacked the basket relentlessly, knocked down key shots, and provided steady leadership throughout the contest. The game remained tight from start to finish, but clutch free throws and timely defensive stops in the final minutes sealed the win. For the first time in school history, the Lady Lions are ranked No. 1 in the NCCAA South Region under the leadership of Interim Head Coach Averyeon Quick.
