Paine Storylines
* Paine College enters the 2017-18 season with six new players which includes three transfers and three freshman. Returning for the Lady Lions is
Tania Ward,
Zhane' Green,
Marquel Thompson and Predrica Bain whom sat out last season due to injury.
* The Lady Lions finished the 2016-17 campaign with a 11-17 and a first round lose to LeMoyne-Owen College in the SIAC Basketball Tournament.
* Sophomore guard
Tania Ward was named to the SIAC Preseason All-Conference team.
* Former Paine College standout
Janisha Wilkerson has signed a professional contract to play basketball in Montenegro.
* Freshman Keondra Archie earned SIAC Co-Newcomer of the Week after her 20 point, nine rebound, two block performance versus USC-Aiken.
* PC fell to Fayetteville State on Tuesday by score of 68-51. Archie led the Lady Lions with 15 points.

* Clayton State enters the game 0-3, dropping their last game to Lincoln Memorial, 76-68.
Next Time Out
* The Lady Lions will start conference play next Friday night (Nov. 30) as they travel to Atlanta, Ga. to take on the Lady Panthers of Clark Atlanta University at 6 p.m.
