Box Score TOCCOA FALLS, Ga. – The Paine College women's basketball team lost a 93-69 contest at Toccoa Falls Monday evening.
The Lady Lions are now 0-12 on the season.
Head coach
Kisha Lucette's team was led by
Adia Dormu's 20 points and 11 rebounds. She drained seven-of-16 from the floor.
Amaria Wright added 13 points while
Leia Brown and
Jayla Dendy tallied 11 each.
Zakarah Powell narrowly missed double digits after netting nine markers.
Daiyah Ruger chipped in five in the loss.
For the game, PC hit 27-of-71 from the floor and 15-of-24 from the charity stripe. The squad grabbed 36 rebounds, including 11 on the offensive glass. The Lady Lions dished out 12 assists and had nine steals to go along with two blocks.
The Lady Lions return to action Saturday when they play at Johnson & Wales at 6 p.m.
