* Paine College enters the 2017-18 season with 11 new players which includes nine transfers and two freshman.
* Senior Guard Malcolm Whittington was named to the SIAC Preseason All-Conference team after finishing second on the Lions averaging (13.0 ppg) while leading the team with (2.3 apg). 
* PC had a season-high 13 blocks versus Embry-Riddle (Nov. 11)
* Senior transfer Babe Murphy has scored in double-figures in five of the first six games this season
* Paine welcomes back Malcolm Whittington who returns to the line-up after sitting out the fall semester due to the NCAA 10 semester rule
* PC added mid-year transfer Fadil Robinson a 6-8, 255 junior forward from Toledo, Ohio.
