AUGUSTA, Ga. – Paine College is excited to announce the upcoming 2022-23 men's basketball schedule.

Highlighting the slate are 12 home contests.

The Lions, coming off a 10-10 campaign, open the season Nov. 1 at Toccoa Falls. That starts the first of four consecutive road contests. Paine College remains on the road for games at Brewton Parker (Nov. 3) before playing a pair of games against Trinity Baptist (No. 5) and Edward Waters (Nov. 13). 

Head coach Kerby Marshall's team opens its home schedule Nov. 15 against North Greenville. Three days later, the team plays at Fort Valley State before rounding out November with a home game against Claflin (Nov. 22).

The Lions host Fort Lauderdale Dec. 2 before a daunting schedule with games at Queens (Dec. 3), Claflin (Dec. 5) and home against Brewton Parker (Dec. 6). 

The team hosts Edward Waters (Dec. 10) prior to playing at Elizabeth City State two days later.

The squad has a break before hosting USC Aiken Dec. 27. On New Year's Eve, the Lions play at Shaw.

Paine College hosts Dalton (Dec. 10) before making the trek to North Greenville Jan. 12. The Lions host Clinton (Jan. 16) and Carolina University (Jan. 28) prior to three straight road games.

The road trip starts Jan. 31 at Saint Leo. On Feb. 4, the squad plays at Voorhees prior to wrapping up the third game on the road at Carolina University (Feb. 9).

The Lions conclude the regular season with home games against Virginia University of Lynchburg (Feb. 11), Toccoa Falls (Feb. 15) and Voorhees (Feb. 20) before competing in postseason competition.
