AUGUSTA, Ga. – Last weekend, Paine College celebrated Homecoming. The event was well attended and numerous alumni returned.

Kisha Lucette gathered the 2005 SIAC Conference champion team together to celebrate 20 years since winning. We also included 3 trivia questions shouting out special people in our department. Athletic Director Selina Kohn was given a special shoutout for bringing the college its two Conference Championships in Women's Basketball. AD Kohn was Coach Of the Year for Women's Basketball in 2001 and 2005. She was also Inducted into the Paine College Hall of Fame in 2011 and was selected as a member of the NCAA Division II 40
th Anniversary Tribute Team.
(MIDDLE PICTURE) Brittany Daniels the 2024-2025 Miss. UNCF (United Negro College Fund) sung the national Anthem before our Men's game. She is a Senior Psychology Major from Grove Park Community of Atlanta Ga. She is actively involved on campus being a member of the TRIO, Member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated, New Student Orientation member and many more.

Kisha Lucette is the only female athlete to have their jersey retired #21. Next to her is the Longest Serving Member on our Athletics Staff, Zackary Howard. Who began his tenure at Paine in 1985 coaching the first ever Paine college volleyball team. He contributed heavily to the 2004-2005 being the runner ups in the conference championship game, going for a team record 39-4. Coach Howard served as the head softball for over 20 years.
