Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 ATLANTA, Ga. (Men's Basketball) – Coach Jimmy Link and the Paine College men's basketball team (0-2) opened regular season play on the road in Atlanta, Ga for the NCAA South Regional Tipoff Classic hosted by Clark Atlanta University.

The Lions were defeated by Florida Institute of Technology (Florida Tech) on Friday, 83-77. On Saturday, the Tar of Rollins College edged out Paine, 65-51.

In the contest against Rollins, Arnis Libazs, Alfonso Davis, and Jay West each had a team high of eight points. Davis accounted for two blocks while Libazs and Darius Smith each had one steal.

The Lions return to action on Nov. 25 in the HEAL Complex against the Jaguars of GRU Augusta at 7 p.m.
